Resort is a purchasable Condo. It can be bought at Horizon Condos for 450,000 Units.

Layout

Resort is a remaster of GMod Tower's Lobby 1, with updated textures and an expansive, mountainous background.

Main Lobby

Players spawn in train station platforms A or B. Both platforms have staircases leading to the train station hub, as well as another leading to the outdoors. The train station hub has two smaller staircases that lead up to the atrium, a large room with a very tall ceiling, extending to the top of the tower. The atrium contains entrances to the theater (left), plaza (center), and teleporter room (right). The plaza contains 5 rooms, a casino, a bar, and an arcade. The theater contains the secret floor, moon, and an entrance to the maintenance hallways in the atrium.

  • Train station platforms A and B contain a staircase to the outdoors, and another to the train station hub and the atrium.
  • The atrium is a large room with a very tall ceiling, extending to the top of the tower.
  • The plaza is another, larger room. An indented space in the room's center was used for seating in GMT, but is now empty. On the sides of the plaza are a U-shaped balcony and five rooms, which in GMT were used for the stores and the casino. At the end of the plaza is a large aquarium as well as an empty space previously used for seating and an ingredient store. To the left and right of this space, respectively, are the arcade and the bar.
    • The arcade is a now empty 3-floor space. In the center of the top two floors is a circular balcony, and in the center of the bottom floor is a circular aquarium in the ground.
    • The bar is a room with a long, L-shaped counter as well as a slightly raised part of the floor. The bar also has a closet behind the counter, as well as two back rooms, which were previously used as bathrooms in GMT.
  • The theater is a large room with seating and a built-in media player. It also contains a projector room, which leads to the moon and the maintenance hallways.
    • The moon has reduced gravity as well as a theater surrounded by a large, dome-shaped forcefield. The forcefield can be noclipped through to access more parts of the moon.
    • The maintenance hallways lead to a floating platform in the atrium.
  • The teleporter room has six teleporters which have buttons to teleport to the Game World ports and suites.

Game World Ports

The Game World Ports, previously known as the Gamemode Ports, is a long room containing 12 rooms which were used for Gamemodes in GMT, but are now empty. The Game World Ports can only be accessed through the teleporter room.

Condo Check-in

The condo check-in area is where all of the condos, known as suites in GMT, can be accessed. It contains 3 hallways. The left and right hallways contain 6 condos each, and the center hallway contains two storefronts and an entrance to the outdoor pool.

  • The check-in room contains an octagonal counter in the center, and the entrances for all 3 hallways, as well as the teleporter room.
  • Each condo is identical to the Suite Condo.
  • The two storefronts are identical to plaza room #5.

Outdoors & Pool

The main entrance to the outdoors is through the train station platforms. The outdoors contains a small log cabin and a lake.

To the left of the outdoors is an outdoor pool. The pool has two diving boards, and is surrounded by a lazy river. Also near the pool are a hut that was used as a bar in GMT, as well as a small volleyball court. Connected to the pool is a small dirt path to the condo hallways.

Trivia

  • In GMod Tower, the main plaza, condos, Game World ports, and outdoors were not connected. Instead, they were each isolated, but were given the illusion that they were connected using teleporters. Walking up the stairs to the outdoors teleported you outside, and each of the other areas were accessed using the teleporter rooms.
  • There is a monolith hidden on the moon.
    • This is a reference to the film 2001: A Space Odyssey.
    • This monolith was not in GMod Tower.
  • Finding the moon rewards you with the achievement, "Space Race".
  • Finding the maintenance vent in the theater projector room rewards you with the achievement, "Freeman".
    • The name and icon of this achievement are a reference to the Half-Life video game franchise.
  • The UFO on the moon was, instead, a crashed space shuttle in GMod Tower.
  • The dev HQ in Resort has less rooms than its GMod Tower variant did.
    • This is because it is using a unique version of the dev HQ made for Tower Unite as an easter egg in the Plaza.
  • Resort typically stays very faithful to Lobby 1's original design, most times keeping everything's proportions untouched, while only having differences in textures used. However, the suites have slightly different proportions and completely different models for the booth and kitchen.
    • This is because the suites used are copies of Tower Unite's Suite condo, which was made back in 2016, and was a complete remake rather than using the same map layout as GMT's Lobby 1 map.
