• The banana upgrade is a reference to both Super Monkey Ball and GMod Tower.
  • Collectable bananas are spread across the levels in Super Monkey Ball.
  • GMod Tower's Ball Race had bananas as its pickups rather than melons.
• The cuboid upgrade is a reference to old alpha versions of Tower Unite.
  • In the earliest versions of Ball Race, the pickups were cuboids rather than melons.
