Woodlands is an easy Ball Race map.

Appearance

Woodlands is set in a forest, with giant pine trees in the background.

The levels are made mostly out of grassy checker-pattern platforms, though the bonus level (level 6) has white platforms with a star checker pattern on them instead.

Obstacles

• Toxic Waste: Woodlands features a hazard which is known as toxic waste. It will instantly kill any players who touch it.

Levels

Level 1

Level 1 starts with a left 180 degree turn through bumpy platforms, taking a right turn down a slope to roll through a small cave. Finally, players take a right turn and roll past a very thin platform to reach the finish.

Level 2

Level 2 starts with a straight path with rocks constantly falling onto it. There is a branching path to the right with extra melons and the map's first Golden Melon. Past the rocks, players drop down a hole and take a wide 180 degree turn to the finish.

Level 3

Level 3 starts with a choice between an easy and hard path. The easy path drops players down a ramp covered in bumpers onto 3 rapidly rising platforms used to bump players up to a 180 degree turn leading to the finish. The hard path starts with a left turn, leading to a thin moving platform leading to a very thin upward ramp, connected by another thin downward ramp to the finish.

Level 4

Level 4 takes players through a wooden tube with flowing water to a platform with a pit of toxic waste. The finish is on the other side of this platform.

Level 5

Players start rolling over a gap with a set of fans onto a tall half-pipe. Players then roll up another, larger half-pipe and through a thin S-shaped path to the finish.

Level 6 (Bonus)

Woodlands' bonus level is a large flat platform with 2 holes and 4 ramps to the sides. On either side of the ramps are hidden large melons, and at the far end of the main platform there is an elevated space with more large melons.

Level 7

Level 7 starts with another gap that players roll past with a fan, dropping onto a giant loop, taking players to a wooden tube that leads to the finish line.

Level 8

Level 8 starts with players rolling through a temple. Players can roll on the very edge of the platform the temple is on to reach the map's second Golden Melon. Players take a right turn past the first temple to go through a second one, leading to a hole that drops players down to the finish.

Level 9

Level 9 takes players through a giant S-shaped tube with boost pads. The finish line is at the end of the tube.

Level 10

Level 10 starts with a wooden bridge. The third and final Golden Melon on this map is located on at the end of the left-center rope supporting the bridge. Next, players dodge a horizontally spinning hammer and through an S-shaped segment with a bumper in the center. Finally, players roll down a slope covered with puddles of toxic waste to reach the finish.

Level 11

Level 11 starts with boost tiles shooting players into a tube. The first tube leads to a second spinning tube with half-and-quarter-cylinder walls and holes to avoid. The finish is at the end of the second tube.
