The Sound Emitter is a unique placeable item that can play sounds and ambience.

Functions

The Spooky Sound Emitter plays spooky sounds in a spherical range around itself. The item itself is invisible, but a radius visualizer and icon appear for Condo owners while holding Q.

There is a wide variety of sounds to choose from in the Sound Emitter's item properties. Some sounds loop infinitely while others trigger in adjustable intervals. Certain sounds also trigger a random sound effect each time it plays.

Editable Properties

Changes the sound's range. Default is 360, can be adjusted from 5 to 10,000.

Changes the sound's volume. Can be adjusted from 0 - 3; volume can be adjusted to the decimal place as well. Min and Max volume can be adjusted on sounds that trigger in intervals to make the volume random each time it plays.

Changes the sound's pitch. Can be adjusted from 0.5 - 3; pitch can be adjusted to the decimal place as well. Min and Max pitch can be adjusted on sounds that trigger in intervals to make the pitch random each time it plays.

Trigger Interval is only available on sounds that play in intervals. Min and Max interval can be adjusted seperately, allowing the sound to play in random or consistent intervals.

Adjusts the range at which a sound's volume starts decreasing when moving away from it. Default is 360. This fixes an issue where sounds could still be heard outside of their visual range indicator, since the falloff was always set to 360 and could not be adjusted.

When enabled, causes sounds emitted to muffle when behind a wall or item.

Sound Packs

Extra sound packs can be purchased at D.I.Y. for 2,500 Units each. These are unlockable (only need to be purchased once) and add extra sound options to all sound emitters the player owns.
