Decommission (Slaughterday Night Live)
Decommission is a map for Slaughterday Night Live. It is a port of Corrosion from Virus.
Description
Layout
Decommission is set in one long room with two square-shaped pits around the waste treatment plant's Processing Units, creating an 8-shaped layout. The North and South sides of the map, the Processed Storage, are the longest, with ramps and ledges placed throughout. The long sides are connected via a thoroughfare on the far east side, a bridge surrounding an Injection Tank on the far west side, a corridor just between the two Processing Units, and two bridges that loop around the two Processing Units. There is also a small room at the South side of the Injection Tank.
Three of the locked doors from Virus - Corrosion are opened up in Decommission, all of which lead into dead-end rooms with pickups inside:
- The Drainage Tunnel in the southern Processed Storage area is a tight corridor that contains the map's only Super Weapon pickup.
- The southeast Heating Tower Inlet is a wide, tall corridor that contains an armor pickup behind a barrel container and an ammo pickup at the far end of the room.
- The northwest unmarked room is a small closet containing an ammo pickup.
Physics Props
The toxic waste barrels and the hourglass-shaped barrels are physics props that can be thrown by the Grav Glove weapon. The barrels do not actually explode.
