Treasure From Sea

Treasure From Sea is an event that occurs every 15 minutes in the Plaza.

Treasures

In Treasure From Sea, 10 treasure chests appear on the Plaza's beaches at the great outdoors. Each chest contains a random item and is buried underground. Each player has their own set of treasures, so treasures cannot be taken by other players first. After 5 minutes, any uncollected treasure chests are lost to sea and will despawn.

This event requires that players use the Metal Detector item (sold at The Stray) to participate.

Locations

Treasures spawned in Treasure From Sea use the same spawn locations as Halloween Remains.

Collectibles in this event can spawn in the following areas:

• The Great Outdoors
  • Along the eastern beach (labeled as "beach" on the fast travel map). Sometimes near the grass
  • Along the western shore of the plaza, stretching from the cliffs near the water slides to the area behind the bowling building

Despite being beaches or other areas near the ocean, collectibles can not spawn in the following areas:

• The Great Outdoors
  • The tiny beach behind the water slides
  • The beach behind the Game World Ports
• Boardwalk
  • The small beach in the center of the boardwalk

Tips/Trivia

• More treasures can be collected each event by collecting them all, leaving the Plaza server, and rejoining. This also applies to any other events involving finding collectables, such as Halloween Remains and Easter Egg Hunt.
• A metal detector isn't strictly required to collect the treasures, although the lack of visual and audio cues makes them very difficult to find.
