Blackjack is a game at the Tower Casino.

Gameplay Loop

The players and dealer both start with two cards. The players' goal is to have a higher card value than the dealer without busting (going over 21).

Bet

Before the players' cards are revealed, they can bet 250, 500, 1,000, 5,000, or 10,000 Units on winning.

Playing

After betting, the player's two cards and the dealer's first card is revealed. If the player's first two cards equal 21 in value, they get a blackjack, guaranteeing a win if they stand.

After the cards are revealed, players take turns choosing to:

• Hit: Draw another card
  • This can be done multiple times
  • Double Down becomes unavailable after choosing this
• Double Down: Double the bet and draw another card
  • This can only be done once
  • The player's turn ends after choosing this
• Stand: Finish the turn

Players can no longer choose any of these options if they bust.

Results

The dealer's final cards and card value are shown. The dealer will attempt to stand at or above a value of 17. Players who didn't bust and have an equal or greater card value than the dealer win; if the dealer busts, anyone who didn't bust wins.

Winners earn twice their bet in Units. If a winner got a blackjack, they win thrice their bet instead.

Card Values

The value of number cards is the same as displayed on the card. King, Queen, and Jack count as 10. The Ace card counts as 1 or 11, depending on whether or not 11 would bust the player/dealer.
